Kevin Martinez As you know, Im rolling out an exciting new opportunity for my IBN members to connect with other INDIEs in their local area, and to help them take advantage of my extensive online media presence. So far, Ive announced Local Directors in Baltimore, Los Angeles and also in Northern New Jersey, Portland, Or, and Boston. Today, Im thrilled to introduce you to Alyssa Middleton, IBNs Local Director in Louisville, Kentucky!
Alyssa has been a member of IBN since July 2008. She holds a Masters Degree in social work, and just last month left a traditional job in public health at the University of Louisville to focus full-time on Vintage Body Spa where she manufactures luxurious spa and vegan baby products. Alyssa is married to her husband of five years, and they have two children. Originally from Milwaukie, Oregon, Alyssa lives in her adopted hometown of Louisville where her husband was born and raised. I asked Alyssa to share a few words about what she hopes to experience as IBNs Louisville Director. Heres what she said:
I love IBN and am such a fan of dM and her dedication to supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs. She and other IBN members have always been so welcoming and supportive when Ive had questions or needed feedback. It is a wonderful community and Im looking forward to connecting with local members and non-members to support each other and have fun while growing our businesses!
